I’m no Math Doctor, but a 10-hole layout with 11 baskets? That sounds pretty Derelict to me!

We’re back at North Valley this Friday with the return of our Derelict Stealth Loop, a custom 10-hole night layout we’ll play twice around! The double basket is in play, and because we’ve seen you all putt, either one counts! The catch? Well… If you know, you know. 😉

This week I’ll keep my usual rambling as short as the LD team is tall, let’s get to the main event!

The wind at Brockway whispers “throw it on an anhyzer!”…
But don’t listen. That wind lies. Your throw is definitely going in the road.

This week, the Derelict League invades a new course in our rotation – Brockway Park in Rosemount! Since it’s our first league night here, let’s cover the essentials:

  • ⏰ Check-in/Card-up by 7:30 PM, tee off at 8:00 sharp. (Seriously, we actually mean it this time – we want to wrap up around 10:00 PM)

  • 🗣️ Quiet-ish mode around Holes 8 & 9. Homes nearby and even though we’re Derelicts, we’re respectful Derelicts.

  • 🚧 Hole 17’s tee pad is under construction but playable. We called ahead to make sure it was a little Derelict just for you.

✨ BIG NEWS: We’re stoked to announce MVP Disc Sports is officially back as a league sponsor for a second straight year! They’re fueling the Derelict CTP Palooza with another huge shipment of disc prizes, THANKS MVP!! Legends say that once a year, the orange cones hum to life…
And when they do, the Derelicts emerge; underprepared, over-caffeinated, and ready to launch another season of glowy nocturnal grace! We’re kicking off 2025 this Friday at Kaposia Park, fresh off the Fundraiser and stumbling straight into Spring – probably a few minutes late as usual, but Derelicts gonna Derelict!

Tommy and I are stoked (and slightly amazed at what this thing has become) to kick off another season with the league we accidentally turned into a weekly tradition. It’s only going to get better as this year we have a Craig, who has officially passed his “set up lights in the woods” test. We’re so grateful for this community, the shenanigans, and all the Derelicts who continue to prove, week after week, that reading is optional and learning from your mistakes is actively discouraged.

Every great glow round starts with someone dragging a wagon full of lights through the woods. This year, one of those someones is Craig Slavik.

Craig is joining the setup squad to help us get the course ready each week — he may have only joined the league last year, but we’ve already had him knee-deep in stake lights, orange cones, and “wait, is this hole 4?” energy.

Give him a shout when you see him – or a hand, if he looks buried in LEDs. Welcome Craig!

THE END OF YEAR FINALE IS HERE DERELICTS!

Derelicts, it’s time to wrap up another incredible season! Can you believe how quickly this year has flown by? We’ve had countless laughs, unforgettable moments, a LOT of rain, and some fierce competition!

Before we dive into the final Derelict League: After Dark round of the year, I want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to all of our members and sponsors. TWO WEEKS LEFT, Derelicts!

Get ready, Derelicts, the season is winding down! Join us this week at First Calvary Baptist, where I’ll be your host. Tommy is on vacation this week, hopefully doing his best not to be swept up in the coming hurricane. Though it looks like he’s at least getting in some pre-Milton throwing while he’s down there, let’s send him our best wishes and hope he’s safe and sound for the finale.

Since I’ll be hosting solo, and let’s face it, hosting isn’t exactly something I’d put towards the top of my resume, please try to have your cards organized when you arrive to help things run smoothly.

We’re Back Derelicts!

This Week we’re hitting up Kaposia for the last round of our Derelict Custom Layout! The next time we are at Kaposia we’ll be doing the Short 21 Layout that will be used at Haunted Hyzers!

Special Shoutout to the Derelict of Derelicts, Tommy Murashie, as it’s his Birthday Today! Please don’t bring any Tree shaped cakes on Friday, we all know what he’ll do to them 😂. Happy Birthday Tommy!

This week we’re back at North Valley for the Derelict “Stealthy” Layout! With it being Friday the 13th, and us being Derelicts, we’re used to a bit of a massacre trying to slash through the woods and this week will be no different! Can’t wait to see you all out there ‘Jason’ those leaderboards!

Thank you everyone for coming out! We had an absolute BLAST on the new iteration of our Kaposia Derelict Layout, we think the changes we made gave it a much better flow and added some really fun (sometimes bonky) shots. We will definitely be doing it again!

MVP SPACE DUBS – OCTOBER 4TH👽
The Derelict League presents our 2nd annual Space Dubs (MVP Space Race) event! We have a modified 26 hole layout at First Calvary Baptist in Inver Grove Heights. All holes have been shortened to provide a variety Ace’able shot shapes. Doubles partners will be drawn at random. All entries include an 2024 MVP Space Race player pack. You must only use the discs provided in the player pack. The MVP player pack contains 2 glow discs. Derelict Space Dubs is a night event, so please bring UV flashlights, or other means to charge your glow discs. You must charge your glow discs before each throw! Please do not hold up the event by losing a glow disc that wasn’t charged before throw. We will light up the course and the baskets to provide an intergalactic atmosphere. There will be a lit island hole, a teleporter hole, and maybe a few extraterrestrials observing the course. We have trophies for first place, but the main objective is to have fun. Registration for this event will go out to Derelicts first and opened towards the end of the Registration window. This is NOT a last minute signup event so mark your calendars!

Ready for a new Kaposia Layout, Derelicts?

We’re mixing it again this week! Tommy’s given our summer layout a fresh twist! We’ve now got four custom Derelict holes to challenge your skills and add variety to the course. Sunrise has been split into two unique looks using both the long and short baskets, Dalbec Deuce now plays to Very Poplars long basket, and Kap O See B has been extended into Kap O Bonk O! We hope you love these changes and can’t wait to see you out on the course!

Thank you everyone for coming out! We hit our SECOND HIGHEST ATTENDANCE AT 46 DERELICTS!
