Greetings once again ghouls and goblins!The 2025 Haunted Hyzers Day/Night Tournament is creeping up fast this coming Saturday, October 25th at Kaposia Park in South St. Paul and we’re thrilled to see you all signed up. A record 110 beastly souls dare to wander our haunted fairways this year!

Your Tournament Directors will be Tommy Murashie, Scott Howard, Craig Slavik, and Patrick Kelly, working tirelessly from the crypt to bring you a smooth, spooky, and terror-filled experience.

If you can no longer attend, please notify us as soon as possible. We have a waitlist full of eager souls dying to take your spot.

Check-In: 12:00 PM – 1:15 PM
Group Photo: 1:15 PM – 1:30 PM
Players Meeting: 1:30 PM – 1:45 PM
Day Round: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
InTERRORmission: 5:00 PM – 6:15 PM (walking tacos + mini-games!)

Playoffs: If there is a tie, stick around! There will be a Putting League Sudden Death Playoff!

Costumes are STRONGLY encouraged but not required!

Discs must be illuminated for the night round!
Glow plastic or LEDs are required and no headlamps or standard flashlights are allowed on the course. UV devices only.

All times are approximate – it’s haunted disc golf and the Derelicts are involved, so we appreciate your patience.

👻 Check-In Details

Please arrive and check in between 12:00 and 1:15 PM near the Kaposia pavilion. PK will assign you to your card and get you ready to haunt the fairways.

Stick around after check-in for the group photo around 1:15 PM so we can capture this year’s Haunted Hyzers crew in full daylight before it gets spooky.

12 Hole Putting League – PK will be hosting a mini putting league! Free to play, anytime between Check-In until the start of Round 2! Featuring even more prizes!

💀 Rounds & Scoring

This event features two rounds of singles play:

Round 1 (Daylight): Standard OB rules apply.
Round 2 (Night Glow): No OB in effect!

We’ll be using UDisc for scoring. Please check into:

Haunted Hyzers 2025

You’ll need a UDisc account (it’s free). If you don’t have one, download the app and join before Saturday. One player per card should keep score, and we recommend a backup just in case. Make sure you are starting on the correct hole in UDisc when you start your card.

🧟 InTERRORmission

Between rounds, we’ll take a break for food, photos, and the InTERRORmission Mini-Games!

Walking tacos will be available for purchase. Provided by Nick and Reina Beisang!
Test your skills (or luck) with a Ring of Fire mini-game with Prizes Sponsored by MVP Disc Sports and Presented by PK / KPLeagues.
12 Hole Putting League – PK will be hosting a mini putting league! Free to play, anytime between Check-In until the start of Round 2!
Time for Round 2 will depend on when the last card finishes Round 1.

Ohhhhh! I wanna ace with somebody, Yeahhh! I wanna park with somebody! One last round with everybody!

Well, here we are! The final week of Derelict League 2025, and for the first time ever, we’re closing it out at Riverfront 13 DGC with a 26 hole round playing the Red 13 Layout twice around! Feels fitting to end the season on a course we’ve never lit up before, with fairways most of us won’t be able to find. Very Derelict.

It’s been a wild year! Tommy found a lost Frisbee that I’m sure nobody in the Twin Cities area knew went missing. Craig has basically become Head League Director simply by showing up every week. Scott, like most people, still has never actually read any of his own posts. PK has been busy nonstop fielding our ridiculous requests and last minute changes. We gave away dozens of discs, had a fundraiser, had the Derelict Maidens join us, and learned we can’t trust a single weather app. All in all, this has been the best Derelict year so far!

To everyone who showed up on Fridays, through the rain, snow, heat, cold, late starts, iffy planning, and Lost Disc Wanted posters, we thank you. Whether you threw like a pro or couldn’t beat a kindergartner, you showed up and hopefully laughed at least once in between tree kicks. You make this league possible!

Congratulations to all of our Season winners and Bonus Ace Champs!

Player Pack Protocols

Is this the real life? Is this just Valley-tee? One chain spit and suddenly I’m questioning reality – Queen (probably)

We’re heading back to North Valley this week for the Derelict Loop Layout as we enter the second-to-last week of the Derelict League season! Tommy’s on vacation (still unsure who approved that PTO), so Craig and I will be running the show. Please try to arrive early so we can get cards organized and start on time. Don’t stop believin’… hold on to that Brockway feelin,

This week the Derelict League heads back to Brockway Park in Rosemount with a new custom Derelict Layout that brings Brockway to 20 total holes! With Scotty out of town, Tommy and Craig will be holding down the fort, so help them out by making carding smooth and easy. The course will be lit and ready for another classic night of Derelict disc golf!

⏰ Check-in/Card-up by 7:00 PM, tee off at 7:30 sharp. (Please try to be on time or early, we’ve had a lot of late starts waiting on people)
🗣️ Quiet-ish mode around Holes 8 & 9. Homes nearby and even though we’re Derelicts, we’re respectful Derelicts.
🚧 Hole 17’s tee pad is under construction still but playable.
