What this community did out there was huge! People gave their time, energy, and donations to make both the league and the local disc golf scene better for everyone who shows up to our little circus each week!
Because of you, we raised over $1,700 for The Derelict League and community projects!
That is not just a number to us! That is solar lights going on every basket at First Calvary, that is support for a league we all care about, and most importantly that is this community showing up for each other in a real way.
The solar basket lights are already in motion and will be installed over the next few weeks. Night rounds at First Calvary are about to get an upgrade that everyone can enjoy!
And since you pushed this well past the original goal, the LD team is already working on what community project comes next!
That wind was brutal
For the first event of the year, things did not always go to plan. Late start. Long night. Derelicts. A full-on “hurricane” rolling through!
You stayed anyway and despite that crazy ending we all had a blast!
We even got to see some Aces! Some were inducted into the first time Ace club, and some proved “Twice or it’s luck” isn’t just a catch phrase!
We appreciate everyone who stuck it out and made the night what it was!
