This week there will be no Derelict League as we will be out of town for an event! We’ll be back on 9/27 for Fall Series Week 5 @ Kaposia!

ATTENTION ALL DERELICTS!

Out of concern for the safety of our League Members, we will be unable to play at Oakwood Park tonight due to course conditions caused by the recent storm activity. The course is in pretty rough shape with a reported lake formed on Hole 11 and multiple trees down which would be unsafe to play at night. Due to this, we will be hitting Hillcrest Knoll!

Please reach out to us if you are unable to make it due to the venue change.

☠️ Haunted Hyzers Rises Once Again! ☠️

Haunted Hyzers, the signature Two-Round Day/Night Tournament hosted by The Derelict League and KPleagues, is BACK for 2024!
We start our ghastly tournament with 21 Holes during the day, then we light up the course, grab our glow gear, and do it again at night! Multiple divisions, trophies, and CTPs galore!

Payouts: Unless otherwise specified, payouts are made in Gray Duck Disc Golf Credit by Gray Duck Disc Golf. Pro-Open and Cash CTP’s are paid through Venmo.

Round 1 – 21 Holes – Day ☀️
Shotgun Start between 2pm and 2:15pm depending on card setup times. Please arrive early to get your card set up!
OB is in play

Intermission 👻
We will have an intermission at the halfway point to get final setup ready for the night round and for registrants to grab some dinner and rest. You can BYO grill/food or run to a local spot and grab a bite to eat.

Round 2 – 21 Holes – Night 🌙
Shotgun Start between 7pm and 7:15pm (this can move depending on the first round).

This is a GLOW round!! To participate in this round you will need Glow Discs or quality LED Lights taped to your discs. Glow tape is okay but PLEASE use enough to easily find your disc. Discs are way easier to find at night than during the day if you’re using the proper equipment and keeping them BRIGHT!
NO OB AT NIGHT!

CTP PRIZES
You will get TWO chances to win each CTP! Once during the day round, and once during the night! Cash CTP’s are paid through Venmo.
We will be adding additional Free Prize CTP’s as the date gets closer.

COSTUMES ENCOURAGED!

The Derelict League  and KP Leagues members will be sponsoring Holes of Horror to creep you out! We can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with! It should be quite the spook-tacle!

Unleash your inner ghoul by signing up to haunt a hole at Haunted Hyzers. We’re looking for spine-tingling decorations that will have players putting in fright!

Here’s How to Haunt It Up:

  1. Become a Haunted Hyzers Sponsor: Fill out the contact form HERE and you’ll get to chance to decorate a hole on the course and create a chilling “Hole-of-Horror” experience.
  2. Legacy Sponsors: Sponsored with us before? You get to choose your frightening fairway first!
  3. New Sponsors: Remaining holes will be assigned first come first serve
  4. Get Spooky! (Temporarily): Go all out with spooky decorations, but remember, the course needs to be back to normal by morning for the next tournament. No permanent changes to the course.

MVP SPACE DUBS – OCTOBER 4TH👽
The Derelict League presents our 2nd annual Space Dubs (MVP Space Race) event! We have a modified 26 hole layout at First Calvary Baptist in Inver Grove Heights. All holes have been shortened to provide a variety Ace’able shot shapes. Doubles partners will be drawn at random. All entries include an 2024 MVP Space Race player pack. You must only use the discs provided in the player pack. The MVP player pack contains 2 glow discs. Derelict Space Dubs is a night event, so please bring UV flashlights, or other means to charge your glow discs. You must charge your glow discs before each throw! Please do not hold up the event by losing a glow disc that wasn’t charged before throw. We will light up the course and the baskets to provide an intergalactic atmosphere. There will be a lit island hole, a teleporter hole, and maybe a few extraterrestrials observing the course. We have trophies for first place, but the main objective is to have fun. Registration for this event will go out to Derelicts first and opened towards the end of the Registration window. This is NOT a last minute signup event so mark your calendars!

DERELICT LEAGUE AFTER DARK SUMMER SERIES

DERELICT ANNOUNCEMENT!!

As promised, here is the Derelict League: After Dark – Summer Series 2024 Course Schedule!

We will be returning to our “Home” at Kaposia Park in an all-new custom Derelict Layout! In addition, we will also be returning to Oakwood for the first time since the Derelict Wednesday Day Rounds as a Derelict After Dark course!

We like to make it weird, and with our new handicap system, we are finally able to change things up a bit, so we sent Tommy out into the woods to come up with some fun new layouts. It’s been a few days and we’re still waiting for him to come back, so in the meantime, we hope you enjoy what we have for you this Summer! If anyone sees Tommy, tell him his family misses him.

In addition to the Summer Series Announcement, we have a few housekeeping items to mention:

  1. In order to be eligible for CTPs, Aces, or Payouts, you must be signed up prior to the start of the round. There may be exceptions in special circumstances, determined by the LDs, however to keep it fair to those who paid in and signed up on time, you may be disqualified if you are not signed up in a timely manner.
  2. Cash CTP’s have a green puck light at the base of them and you must be bought into the Cash CTPs to be eligible to win them. If you aren’t bought in, please don’t move the cash CTPs. Disc/Prize CTPs are for everyone courtesy of Derelict League, our members, vendors, or sponsors, no buy-in is needed.
  3. When you arrive, verify you are signed up on KPLeagues and check into the event on UDisc.
  4. Pick up garbage! It doesn’t even have to be yours, if it looks like garbage, throw it away, earn yourself some course karma!

NOTE: Spring Week 9 will no longer be at Highland Park, instead we will be running the new Kaposia After Dark 20 layout! You can Sign Up Now even before the regular Wednesday Announcement!
