The woods are feeling a bit Derelicty this week…

Can you believe it’s already August?! This Friday we’re heading to Oakwood Park to take on the Derelictwood 18 layout. This custom 9 hole loop played twice through is a bit trickier to navigate so just follow the cones and make your way through one of the tougher tracks we play. Main parking is in the cul-de-sac near Hole 6’s pin, otherwise the main lot works if you’re up for a short walk.

There can be only one… and this week, it’s Highland!

This week we’re heading back to a Derelict League classic, Highland Park in Saint Paul! We’ll be running our custom Derelict Layout, featuring the Front 9 plus a bonus hole to the practice basket. The High-Roller CTP returns on the ever-bonktacular Hole 3, so bring your best shot. See you out there!

Reminder for the Ladies: The Derelict Maidens Women’s League is also at Highland today (Thursday) with a flex start from 7:00am to 7:00pm. If you’re playing, join the 5:00pm shotgun meetup for a chance at some Ladies Only CTPs and to connect with other Maidens!

The Derelict Tour 2025: The Derelict Tour is heading to La Crosse, Wisconsin from September 18th to 21st. Lock in your lodging and start assembling your House. House Wars is making its return, we’ve got a full weekend of competitive tournament play lined up, and it all wraps with The Derelict Tour Random Dubs Tournament at Pettibone Park 27. ATTENTION DERELICTS!

It’s finally happened, we did the unthinkable…. We checked the forecast before the round. I know, I know, Rookie move.

Turns out there’s a decent chance of storms rolling in tonight (which, of course, guarantees it’ll be crystal clear the moment I hit “Post”), but out of an abundance of caution and a mild fear of lightning we’re pushing Derelict League: After Dark to tomorrow night, Saturday 7/19.

Same Derelict time, same Derelict place.

The Derelicts return to Hillcrest, land of short holes, bright chains, and my ongoing failure to hit any of them!

We’re heading back to Hillcrest Knoll this Friday, the ace-run HQ of the Derelict League! We must love it cause this week it’s absolutely loaded with CTPs! Make sure to check out the update to the basket on Hole 1 which the Kutzke family kindly branded with The Derelict League, it’s looking sharp out there, so give the Kutzkes a big thanks when you see them. As always, Tommy and Craig will have the course lit up like the beasts they are!

Prior to the Friday night Derelict shenanigans, the Derelict Maidens take the stage! The brand-new Derelict Maidens League kicks off their very first event tomorrow at Hillcrest as a Flex League with a 5:30pm meetup if you want to participate in some CTPs. It’s a daytime Womens Cali League hosted by new LDs Phalshie Larson and Sandy Barragan, with prizes, payouts, and a twist on the typical Womens League format. Spread the word and show some love, this one’s going to be something special. Great work Ladies!

The Maiden’s Voyage: The Derelict Maidens Women’s League

The Derelict League is proud to partner with KPLeagues and Gray Duck Disc Golf to bring you something new; The Derelict Maidens, a women’s disc golf league created by women, for women, with the kind of energy, inclusivity, and Derelict creativity that sets us apart.

After hearing from some of the women in the Derelict community, it was clear: there’s a need for a Women’s league that’s welcoming, competitive, and above all, fun. So the Maidens went to work and what they came up with is something we’re genuinely excited to launch!

These two have stepped up to lead the charge, organize the chaos, and shape this league into something special. Whether you’re chasing a payout or just looking for a great card to throw with, they’ve got your back.

To keep the league family-friendly and inclusive without losing its focus, we’re allowing Bro and Bro Jr divisions only when they’re playing alongside a female player. During flex start, each card must include at least one female player. Shotgun start cards will be curated by the League Directors, and Bros must be invited by a Maiden to join. During Shotgun Starts the LDs will allow “Bro Cards” at their discretion. This structure keeps the spotlight where it belongs, on the women, while making room for families, couples, and friends to play together.

Whether you’re a seasoned player or brand new to the sport, The Derelict Maidens is here to offer a fresh space for Women to compete, connect, and have a blast on the course.

Nothing good ever happens in the woods after dark… so we’ll see you there!

Apologies for the late post, we’ve been watching the weather to make sure we’re good to go! This week we’re back at Kaposia Park for our classic Derelict layout! The weather looks like it might cut us a break, but we’ll keep watching to make sure things stay mostly dry. If it turns, we’ll let you know.

Big congrats to Thong and Kenzie for hitting Aces last week at First Calvary with Kenzie snagging her first Ace ever! That’s THREE new Derelicts who’ve gotten their very first aces at Derelict League! Always nice when someone finds the basket on purpose. Hall of Aces awaits (promise I’ll get this updated soon)!

Don’t forget: if you don’t have a Kaposia Season Pass, swing by the pro shop before the round to grab one for the night. You can also grab a day pass online at the Flight Deck site if that’s easier or if the shop is closed.

Plus Four Scores and Several Triple Bogeys Ago…

The Derelicts are heading to First Calvary this Friday for a proper Fourth of July round! Glow discs flying while fireworks light up the sky! We’re stacking the course with extra CTPs to celebrate, so expect a few more reasons to cheer (or curse), and let’s bring the BOOM! 💥

Get ready Derelicts, we’re heading back to Garlough this Friday for the Garlough 9 + Derelict 10th hole loop! It’s a shorter course with some sneaky elevation and plenty of green light ace runs, so bring your touch game and some of that Derelict reckless optimism.

Summer officially begins this Friday, and so does our 2025 Summer Series! We’re heading to Highland Park to loop our 10-hole layout twice around. It’s the standard front 9 plus one extra hole to the practice basket. Since it’s the start of summer, we’ll be teeing off a little later – around(ish) 9:00pm this Friday!

The pros are in town for The Preserve Championship this weekend for our last week of Spring Series, so it’s best the Derelicts keep their distance, we wouldn’t want any of that talent rubbing off.

We’re tentatively set to throw Kaposia this Friday on our custom Derelict Layout, but we’re keeping one wary eye on the forecast. If it looks too gnarly, we’ll call it, even though we do love a good Friday the 13th round. Fingers crossed the skies cut us some slack.
