Less foliage, more open fairways, let the Fall Series Begin!

The nights are creeping in earlier, which means we’re sliding our start time back to 8:30pm(ish) at Hillcrest Knoll for the kickoff of the Fall Series! The summer may nearly be behind us, but don’t think for a second the Derelict year is winding down quite yet, we’ve still got seven weeks of Fall Series with Haunted Hyzers and MVP Space Dubs coming up quick soon after!

Before we dive headfirst into fall, a huge shoutout to Kenzie Burke, who claimed the Summer Series overall title! The Derelict handicap system is all about outplaying yourself, and Kenzie showed exactly how it’s done. Now the question is… who’s hungry enough to take the belt this fall?

👑 Derelict Maidens
This week we have a double-header of Hillcrest Knoll where the Maidens throw during the day on Thursday before we throw at night on Friday! Meetup at 5:30, tee off around 6:00.

👻 Haunted Hyzers Returns!
Minnesota’s most horrifying Halloween disc golf event is back October 25th. One round beneath the pale autumn sun, one round under the cloak of night, and both will test your skills and your courage as you brave the haunted woods of Kaposia Park. Details and signups at HauntedHyzers.com.

🕗 Reminder: Watch for other cards and players on the course when taking your shots!

Derelicts return to Kaposia for fresh crimes against forestry!

After bailing last week thanks to a forecast we shouldn’t have believed, we’re back at Kaposia for the Final Week of the 2025 Summer Series! The Island Hole High Roller makes its triumphant return on Skanny Skip as part of the custom Derelict Kaposia Layout, so bring your best shots and worst decisions! As always, Tommy and Craig will be lighting up the fairways for you amazing Derelicts!

This week the Maidens are breaking new ground at Silverview Park in Mounds View! Meetup at 5:30, tee off around 6:00. First time this course hits the Derelict lineup, so don’t miss it.

⚠️ Heads Up: If you don’t have a Kaposia season pass, swing by the pro shop before the round to grab one. You can also snag a day pass online through Flight Deck if that’s easier or if the shop’s already closed.

Haunted Hyzers crawls back from the grave!

Minnesota’s most horrifying Halloween disc golf tournament returns this October 25th for another fright-filled evening of derelict mayhem. One round beneath the pale autumn sun, and one insidious round under the cloak of night, will test not only your skills, but your courage… as you brave the haunted woods of Kaposia Park.

Presented by The Derelict League and KPLeagues, Haunted Hyzers is our annual Halloween Day/Night Tournament, Sponsored by MVP Disc Sports and Gray Duck Disc Golf. The course will be transformed into a nightmare, with sponsors designing “Holes of Horror” to send chills down your spine. Expect cursed chains, ghastly guardians, and a course twisted by the Derelicts themselves.

Frightful Features

  • Frighteningly fun Trophies for the boldest souls.

  • Shriek-worthy CTPs that may haunt your dreams.

  • Devilish side games during the break to keep the spirits restless.

  • A special treat: pins and minis included with registration.

  • And of course… costumes are strongly encouraged (the spirits demand entertainment).

First Calvary is back, which means we clearly didn’t learn the first time!

This Friday we’re heading back to First Calvary with the High Roller CTP on holes 9/19 for anyone lucky enough to cash in! The fairways will be lit, the baskets bright, and the usual Derelict tomfoolery will be in full swing. We’re keeping an eye on the Friday night forecast and will let you know if plans change. Scott will be out of town, so please help make carding easy on the rookies.

Derelict Maidens – Thursday 8/14
Our Thursday Women’s Cali League heads to Hillcrest Knoll, one of the most aceable courses in the rotation. Flex Start runs 7am–7pm. Shotgun meetup at 5:30pm, teeing off at 6:00pm. As always, Derelict start times may vary.

Pre-order is open until August 22nd for the limited release Derelict Drip jersey. Once it’s closed, there’s no guarantee we’ll have extras. Check KPLeagues to place your order!

We’re heading back to Garlough this Friday for the Garlough 9 + Derelict 10th hole loop! Tommy and Craig will be lighting the way as always, and our custom Hole 10 is this week’s High-Roller CTP! We’re excited to see you out there, we have a heap of updates below!
